  1. 1982

    Ross Motorcycles opens

    Joe Linehan, formerly head mechanic for Ross & Co on Winthrop Street, establishes Ross Motorcycles in Cork.

    Founded by the late Joe Linehan, a former head mechanic for Ross & Co in Winthrop Street.

  2. The early years

    A reputation built in the workshop

    Mechanical knowledge, honest advice and hands-on service become the foundation of a business trusted by riders across Cork city and county.

  3. Carroll’s Quay

    Motorcycles in the city centre

    The showroom at 1 Carroll’s Quay brings motorcycles, scooters, parts, clothing and workshop care together a short walk from Christy Ring Bridge.

  4. Growing range

    From commuters to superbikes

    Ross expands its range across new and used motorcycles, scooters, rider equipment, tyres and accessories from recognised manufacturers.

  5. Today

    Still family-run

    Ross Motorcycles remains an independent family business — combining more than four decades of experience with official brand relationships and nationwide reach.
